Do you like to watch the sky?

Yes, Ilove the blue. Although the sky in most of china’s big cities are not that clear,sometimes  even grey, I still enjoy looking up to the sky, which has been one of my  biggest passions in life.

Do you like the sky during the day or night?

Well, actually I love both. In the daytime, the sky looks  clearer. I can see clouds, birds,the sun and even some planes. While at  night, there will be stars shining like diomands. It’s so gorgeous!

Have you learnt any coouses about stars or planets?

Yes, at primary school, we had a course by the name  of Nature. The teacher taught us something about stars. I know the  sun, the moon,the Mars,the Jupiter, etc..

What is your favourite star?

Ah, I don’t  think I have a favourite star. They all look the same to me. But if I had to  choose one, I would go for Mars. I’ve  heard that there could be living creatures on that planet. I’m pretty curious about that and I hope one day we can find life on  Mars.

Describe a place  you went to that was full of color

When I was in high school,  I took a trip to Suzhou with my parents and we visited the well-known  classical gardens. Those gardens used to be private gardens owned by some  rich guy, I don’t remember his name..., and now have become tourist  attractions. I walked around the whole garden. I was fascinated by the  gorgeous natural views and delicate buildings. I guess the gardens were full  of color. Allow me explain specifically: the buildings in the garden were of  traditional chinese style: the walls were painted white, the roofs were  black, the paved roads and winding paths were grey,which gave people a sense  of tranquility and peace. What’s more, there were a bunch of wooden pavilions  in the garden, so they looked dark brown. Plus, loads of green plants and  flowers were grown everywhere, adding bright and vibrant colors, such as  red,pink,yellow and orange, to the garden. And last but not least, there were  some pools where tons of lotus flowers were grown, making the garden a  wonderful fairyland. So I suppose that was a colorful place.

What was the most popular color last year?

The most popular color last year in china, I  guess, was babycolors and loud colors, coz I saw the clothes selled in shops  tended to be pink, cream, lilac,red and oragne, etc.. It seemed that warm and  adorable colors were more popular in china. I don’t know why but this trend  is a fact: chinese people prefer warm colors to dull or cold colors, perhaps  because chinese people believe bright colors will bring good luck.

How do colors affect people’s mood?

Um…colors do have a  great influence on people’s mood. For example, many people choos lilac  curtains in their bedrooms coz it is said that lilac can be helpful to a good  sleep. And loud colors will cheer us up if we have a bad mood. Red and orange  bring us hope and dynamic life. Besides, babycolors, such as pink and cream,  will make us feel warm and at ease. On the other hand, some quiet colors like  navy blue and green will give us a sense of tranquility and peace. They help  us to clam down when we are angry or something.
