Do you like museums?

Yes. I’m quite fond of museums. In fact, one of  my craziest dreams is to spend a night under the huge dinosaur skeleton in  the Natural History Museum in London.

What kind of museums do you like?

Among various kinds of museums, art museums are my  favourite ones. I just can’t resist the temptation of watercolour  paintings. I could spend a whole day in a art museum doing nothing but  appreciating the pictures.

Do you like to go alone or with your friends?

Normally, I would go alone. Of course it would be great to  hang out with some friends in a place full of great works of art, but  personally I prefer to taste the arts without any distractions.

Do you want to work in a museum?

Actually, I applied for the role of information desk  volunteer in a local museum once. I’m not someone with a great fortune, so I  guess being a volunteer is the only approach to show some support. I had a  great time there, so maybe one day I will apply for a full-time job in a  museum.

I’d like to tell  you something about skateboarding, which is one of my favourite extreme  sports. Skateboarding is an action sport which involves riding and performing  tricks using a skateboard. It was in South Bank London that I first saw those  skateboarders practicing some fascinating tricks. I met some very nice  skaters who kindly told me some terms of their tricks. This is quite unexpected  because I thought all the skaters were arrogant youngsters. Then the oldest  skater did some freestyle tricks, and the performance was so incredible that  I almost forgot to breathe. I couldn’t  help trying some very basic skills, like, simply gliding. But it’s still too  difficult for me.

I’ve never tried  this sport before I saw it with my own eyes. Then I was utterly shocked by the  perfect combination of risk and art. It gives  me an overwhelming sense of excitement, which is exactly something that I’ve  never felt before.

What do you think of extreme sports?

Well, though I really enjoy watching those  players doing extreme sports, I’m afraid I wouldn't dare give it a try. The  reason is simple – it’s to risky. I’m not bold enough to risk my life for  fun. Also, I believe that young players should take extra care when they’re  taking part in extreme sports.

Should government ban dangerous sports for  young people?

I wouldn't say any dangerous sport should be  banned. First, it’s hard to define whether a sport is dangerous or not. You  know, driving could be dangerous but you can’t just say that accidents might  happen so we should just stay at home without going anywhere. Also, things  could get worse if government or any relevant department banned so-called “dangerous  sports”. Reverse psychology is young people’s trait, one must keep in mind  when you’re trying to deal with youngsters.
