Are there many museums in your hometown?

Yeah, there are about three museums in my hometown. The  biggest one is  located in the center.  I have visited the museum several times. And the other two are new, I’ve just heard about them.

Do you think museums are useful for visitors to your  hometown?

Actually, I guess museums are useful for those who are  really interested in the history of my hometown, coz you know,visiting a  museum is an excellent and effective way to learn about the  history of a city.

Do you often visit a museum?

Not really. I’ve  been the biggest museum in my hometown only several times even though I’ve been living here for 25 years. The last time I went to the  museum was about eight year ago.

Do you think it’s suitable for museums to sell things to visitors?

Hmm, personally I’m  ok with that. I think  there’s nothing wrong with museums to sell souvenirs  to visitors. Many visitors want to buy something when they check out  museums, maybe for themselves, maybe they will send those souvenirs to their  friends as gifts. But the prices of the stuff sold in museums should be reasonable.  And the museums should never force visitors to buy anything.

When it comes to this topic, I’d  like to share with you my trip to Thailand last year, which was really a  fantastic journey. I went on a seven-day trip with a bunch of friends in May  last year. We checked out Phuket Island, Bangkok and Chiengmai.

I was fascinated by the  crystal-clear sky and gorgeous beach of Phuket Island. My friends and I  took a motorboat to better appreciate the breathtaking seascape. And  we drank refreshing coconut juice and tasted the local durian, which  was the most delicious durian I had ever eaten. Plus, we also paid a visit to  some tourist attractions in Bangkok like the Grand Palace and Pattaya where I  bought a few Naraya bags for my friends and relatives. But among all  the fun places in Thailand, I had a preference for Chiengmai, which was a  peaceful and tranquil ancient city. When I strolled around in town, I  felt cozy and at ease. It was a place that could help people acquire inner  peace.

I guess all these above explain  why I’d like to make that trip again. Oh , by the way, I do love the fragrant  and delicate roses in Chiengmai.

Do you prefer long distance journey or short distance  journey?

Actually, that depends. If I have a relatively  longer holiday and enough money, I will travel to some far away places. I  always believe that far away places tend to be more fun and mysterious.  But if the time is limited, like, most of the public holidays in china only  have three days’ off, then I will just hang out with my friends or family in  some nearby places.

Do you use internet to get travel information?

Sure, I  always use internet to get travel information, not just travel information.  We are living in an information age. I get almost all information on the  internet. There is numerous travel information online and most of the  information is true and reliable. I often search relevant information  about the tourist destinations and that can help me make better travel  plans and arrangements.
