1.Do you enjoy travelling?(why or why not?)

To be honest,I am not quite into travelling .

Thereasons are simple, you know, travelling is a money-consuming activity. Andwhat makes it worse is that sometimes it is even life-threatening.

For instance,I heard some backpackers remain missing because of the massive earthquake inNepal!

说实话，我不怎么喜欢旅行。原因很简单，你知道旅行是费钱的活动。更糟糕的是，旅行有时甚至会有生命威胁。例如，我听说在尼泊尔大地震中有一些背包客仍旧未找到！

2.Have you done much travelling?(why or whynot？)

Sure, Ihave travelled to tons of places so far. It is no exaggeration to say I can’tlive without travelling now. It makes my life become meaningful.

Everysummer vacation I travel by myself, I found that travelling is the best way to keepaway from trivial things in daily life. By the way ,I treat travelling as thefinest way of mental therapy.

当然，到目前为止我已经去过许多地方了。毫不夸张地说，我现在已经离不开旅行了。它让我的生命变得有意义。每年夏天我都会独自旅行，我发现旅行是最好的暂时的避开生活琐事的方法。对了，我还把旅行当作是一种最好的心理治疗。

3.Do you think it is better to travel aloneor with other people?(why?)

Well,from my point of view, as a young man I would probably chose travelling alone. Itis obvious that travelling alone can get me more freedom, I mean I won’t affectedby others will. And more importantly, my trip can be more personalized, I candesign my own itinerary based on my preferences.

Forexample, last time I went to Hong Kong I skipped some “must-see” spots, such asocean park and Disney land, but went to Lan Kwai Fong which is my desirableplace.

在我看来，作为年轻人我可能会选择独自旅行。很显而易见的是独自旅行能给我带来更多的自由，我不会被他人的意见所左右。更重要的是，我的旅行将会更加个性化，我可以根据我的喜好自己设计旅行行程。

比如，上次我去香港我就略过了一些所谓必去的景点，例如“海洋公园、迪斯尼乐园”，我反而去了我特别想去的兰桂坊。

4.Where would you like to travel in thefuture?

Actually, I am planning to travel to Korea nextmonth with my family .I have already booked the plane tickets and hotel roomsby using the APP which is quite an economic way. As for the reasons ,the majorone is that I hope to buy numerous cosmetics there, you probably know that Koreais famous for those.

事实上，我正打算下个月和家人去趟韩国。我己经用便宜的价格通过手机应用预定了飞机票和酒店。至于我去的原因，其实最主要的是我想买很多的化妆品，你大概知道韩国正因此出名。

PART 2

Talking about a child I know, I would like totell you about my son. His name is Ray and he is anadorable boy. We just celebrated his four yearsbirthday this February. Hehas short curly hair,very white and smooth skin,with sparkling eyes. Everyoneloves him because he has big smileon his face all the time. He’s really alittle angel in my eye.

In terms of personality, Ray is curious andwants to know the reasons for everything.Sometimes we run out of explanations, so we have to ask him to look foranswers in Wikipedia.

By the way, Idon’t know why he is always full of energy. Ray just doesn’t like to stay at home and he isenthusiastic about every outside activities. He enjoys driving his toy car and sometimesplaying hide-and-seek with other kids whichis his favorite game.

Hehas been studying in kindergarten,and I think he’s one of the best students in his class. I am pretty sure that he will have a promisingfuture.

He’sreally adorable and sweet. We all feelblessed to have himaround.

Part 3

1.Howmuch time do children spend with their parents in your country? do you thinkthat is enough?

Well,when it comes to how much time do children spend time with their parents inchina, actually, it’s hard to say, but I can talk about what is happening on myaunt’s boy.

I foundthat he seldom has time to actually spend some quality time with his parents,for example, having a trip together, or watch a football game at weeks. He isjust too busy in studying, which is kind of an invisible burden on him.

Youprobably know that Chinese education is well-known for a title called examination-orientedsystem. Actually, my aunt’s boy is just a sample of  billions of Chinese children.

As for doI think the time is enough, the answer is definitely not enough. Schooling isnot everything, parenting also plays an indispensable part of education. Youknow that good family parenting can nurture our children to be virtuous\ industrious\optimistic\ faithful, and spending time with parents is theonly way to achieve these I guess.

说道中国孩子跟他们的家长平时有多长时间能呆在一起，事实上，这很难讲，但是我可以说一说发生在我阿姨家孩子身上的情况。我发现他很难有时间跟父母一起度过一些比较好的时光，比如，一起出去旅行或者周末看场球。他总是忙于学习，这是压在他身上的隐形的压力。你可能也知道中国的教育是以一种叫做应试教育系统而出名的。其实，我阿姨的孩子只是千千万万个孩子的缩影。

至于，我认为亲子时间是不是够，当然不够。学校教育不是一切，家庭教育也扮演着不可或缺的作用。好的家庭教育可以培养孩子的善良、勤奋、乐观、诚信，我想亲子时间才是可以实现这一切的唯一途径。

2.How important doyou think spending time together is for the relationships between parents andchildren? why?

Well, asfor as I am concerned, parenting is a top priority during a child’s adolescence,what I mean is that parenting has greater importance than schooling, eventhough schooling is also critical in someone’ life.

In China Webelieve that Parents are the first teachers of the children, so the more timeyou spend with your children ,the more life lessons your children will gain. Actually,I always believe that the best qualities the children have are given by their parents,such as humility,  optimism, generosity.

Finally,I want to stress that spending more time with your children promotes morechances to nurture you children to be a great man.

在我来看，家庭教育在孩子的青春期是最为重要的。我的意思是，家庭教育要比学校教育更为重要，当然，学校教育也在一个人的成长中扮演着举足轻重的作用。

在中国，我们认为家长是孩子的第一任老师，所以，你跟孩子待得时间越长，你的孩子就越有机会学会更多的人生哲理。事实上，我认为，孩子身上最重要的品质都是来自于他们的父母，比如，谦虚，乐观和慷慨。

总而言之，我想强调的是跟孩子待在一起的时间越多，就越有机会将孩子培养成一个伟大的人。
