1.正确的情况：

1）表述是对原文的同义转换

原文：…, thanks to a range of new technologies that help to conserve water in homes and industry，题目：Modern technologies have led to a reduction in domestic water consumption.

题目中的led to 对应文章中的thanks to，所以是正确的。

2）是对原文合理的归纳总结

原文：It has been proved that a rapid response leads to a great likelihood of arrest only if it is 1-2 minutes after a call is received by a police. When the response time increases to 3-4 minutes, the likelihood of arrest is substantially reduced.

题目：A response delay of 1-2 minutes may have substantial influence on whether or not a suspected criminal is caught.

文中虽然没有直接说"1-2分钟的反应时间的延长影响抓捕率"，但是我们可以根据文中信息进行合理推断，得出题目中的结论，所以该题是正确的。

2、错误的情况：

1）对原文逻辑关系表述的错误，比如说因果、条件、时间顺序等发生错误

原文：The internet has often been criticized by the media as a hazardous tool in the hands of young computer users.

题目：The media has often criticized the internet because it is dangerous.

题目中明显把文中"in the hands of young computer users"这个条件去掉了，所以此题判断为错误。

2）题目中将原文推测的部分上升为已被证实的理论

原文：Another theory is that worldwide temperature increases are melting polar icecaps.

题目：It is a fact that the melting of ice caps in both south and north poles are worsened by worldwide increase in temperature.

题目中讲到"it is a fact"，强调是一个客观事实，而文中仅说到一个理论"another theory"，所以判断为错误。

3）在"比较"情况上出错，比如说原文中用了as…as…表示和…一样而题目中换成了比较级

原文：At the height of the Roman Empire, nine major systems supplied the occupants of Rome with as much water per person as is provided in many parts of the industrial world today.

题目：Water use per person is higher in the industrial world than it was in Ancient Rome.

原文是说一样的量，而题目是多于，因此为错误。

4）绝对性说法，题目中出现如must, only, all, never, no longer等词，只要原文没有对应，即可判断为错误

题目：The biological functions of forests were recognized only in the twentieth century.

3、未提及的情况：

1）题目中某些内容在原文中没有提及

原文中只提到了developing countries并未提及governments的做法，所以判断为NG。

2）信息范围缩小

原文：Tourists in Cyprus come mainly from Europe.

题目：Tourists in Cyprus come mainly from the UK.

文中的"Europe"在题目中缩小为"UK"，信息范围大大缩小，所以为NG。
