IELTS Speaking Part 1 Shoes
1. Do you like shopping for shoes?
【女生版】Yes I do. Cos you know, shoes especially boots and high-heeledones that I am pretty after can definitely brighten up my charm, making mebeautiful and graceful. So, I’m quite into buying various fashionable shoes.
【男生版】It's ok I suppose, but it's not something I especially enjoydoing. You know, for me it's just a matter of finding the right shoes andbuying them, and the faster I can get it done, the better.
2. How often do youbuy shoes?
【女生版】 Well, every time when I wander in a store with my sisters, I can’t helphaving tries about newly arrivals of shoes, even if theyare not the most I need. I mean, I often buy pairs of shoes probably once aweek or a fortnight, and then, you know, they just simply sleep at home. But Iam really that girl, being fond of shoes.
【男生版】 Let me have a little think…um, I guess probably something like onceevery few months, cos I mean, the shoes I buy tend to last quite a long time, sometimes even a year or so, before I need to get another pair. So, yeah, onaverage I'd say I buy a couple of pairs a year. Something like that.
3. What kinds of shoesdo you usually buy?
【女生版】 Um…high-heeled shoes, such asChristian Louboutin, the most welcomed red shoes. Not only do such shoes makeme slim and elegant, but they bring me self-confident. Besides that, I’mpartial to thongs, cos I pretty much like going to seaside, enjoying gorgeousviews there as well as loosening up. Thongs can suitably match that.
【男生版】Well, thinking about it, the shoes I normally buy are justplain, simple walking shoes, cos that's all I really need. Oh and I alsooccasionally buy trainers for running, but that's pretty much it
4. Do you prefercomfortable shoes or good-looking shoes?
【女生版】I’d say both chic and comfort are indispensable. Althougheye-catching is important for me when considering about shopping shoes, I takecomfort as an essential point into consideration as well. Cos, you know, heelscan often hurt by hard shoes material or due to shoes design. That’s verypainful thing when walking.
【男生版】I much prefer comfortable shoes, cos for me, comfort isdefinitely the number one priority. But that's not to say I don't care at allabout how they look. I mean, I don't wanna go around wearing shoes that lookhideous. You know, that would be pretty embarrassing.
IELTSSpeaking Part 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Describe a time when you saw an interestinganimal.
You should say:
What animal itwas
Where you saw it
What happenedwhen you saw it
And explain why you thought it was interesting.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right, then, I’m gonna say something about monkeys. Um…they are prettymuch ubiquitous around the world. In China, we can easily spot them in zoos orsome national parks. And sometimes you may seem them with people buskingon streets.
I remember that a couple of years ago, when I was hanging out with mybuddies to a scenery attraction in YUN NAN, I forget the exact name of thespecific place, anyway, YUN NAN is in southwest of China, where it is abeautiful province, serving the last less polluted residence for natural partnerslike monkeys or something, I saw those interesting species there.
So, next, what can I say about them? Um…well, I’m not exactly sure what species of monkey they were, I’m afraid, cosmy eyes were just drawn to the movement of them, and I didn’treally pay that attention to the explaining on the scenic spot introduction. Soall I can really say is that they were small monkeys, with grey fluffy fur and roundgolden sparkling eyes. Perhaps they were the valuable and rare monkeyscalled Mi Hou in Chinese.
And the reason I found them interesting wasthat they seemed to kind of have this, like, sense my presence. By that Imean, they were communicating with me in some kind of way when I made eyecontact with them. It was also funny looking at their hands, a miniature version of our hands, and it’s just socute seeing how they hold stuff.
IELTSSpeaking Part 3
【Pets】
Do many people in China like to have a pet?
Well, I think thenumber of Chinese who like pets is less than half the total population. AlthoughI think pets are very funny, some perhaps are really scared of them, even tinyand harmless ones. This probably because of something in their childhood, I don’tknow. There are many people in China who like pets, but not the majority, forsure.
【Wild animals】
How do Chinese people feel about the protectionof wild animals?
Many Chinese are onlynow beginning to learn about the importance of protecting wild animals, as wellas the environment they live in. The new generations are being taught torespect wild animals. But people never even see them except on TV, so they onlyhave a vague idea of the need to protect them. I admire the many brave peoplewho have made sacrifices to protect wild animals, like the KEKEXILI mountainpatrol.
【zoos】
What is the purpose of having zoos?
Zoos are really acompromise, I think. They are a way for people who live in the city, especiallychildren, to see wild animals. But I think that unless the zoos are the bestquality, they shouldn’t be operated, as it’s cruel to keep wild animals insmall cages or dirty surroundings. High standard zoos can be good, as theyeducate the general public about the world around them. But I still think itwould be better if people could learn about animals straight from nature, notseeing them in zoos.
