主体段1：

名人支持国际公益组织的确能让人对很多问题引起重视（lay  emphasis on）。很多影视明星、歌星和体育明星（movie  stars、singers and  sports professionals），已经成为了公众的焦点（have  been the centre of the public），喜欢他们的粉丝会随时关注他们的动态（adoring  fans），如果有了这些明星的支持，那么很多需要援助的问题，例如饥荒、医疗技术援助（poverty、technical assistance）等，就会及时地被公众知晓（be publicised），因此，就会有更多人捐款（donate money to help deal with  these problems）。

主体段2：

有些人认为让名人成为国际公益组织事件的代言人可能会产生负面的效果（produce  adverse effects）。有些名人只是想利用各种公益来宣传自己（promote  themselves），来掩饰自己曾经被曝光的丑闻（cover  up sandals），而非真心做慈善（not a charity  event），大众会觉得这是在做秀（as a publicity  stunt），产生抵触（have a strong  aversion to），从而对这些公益事件麻木，无动于衷（be  indifferent to ）；有些人会认为自己没有名人有钱，觉得有名人解决就行了，从而不参与解决问题。

结尾段：

名人参与慈善活动是值得鼓励的，可以带动更多人去帮助他人。但是名人还需要做得更好，要证明他们确实为慈善做出了实实在在的贡献（have  made substantial contribution to charity）。
