　　Curriculum Vitae is a latin expression loosely translated as the course of life. It is an outline of a person's educational and professional history, usually prepared for job applications. Another name for a CV is a resume.

　　1.When should a CV be used? 什么情况下用到个人简历

　　1) When an employer asks for applications to be received in this format

　　2) When an employer simply states "apply to…" without specifying the format

　　3) When making speculative applications (when writing to an employer who has not advertised a vacancy but who you hoe may have one)

　　2.What information should a CV include?

　　1) personal detail 详细个人信息 （name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email）

　　2) Education and qualifications 教育和任职资格 （degree, subject and university）

　　3) Interests and achievements 兴趣和成就 （Hobbies and employment record）

　　Any interests relevant to the job are worth mentioning. 和工作相关的兴趣都可以提出，但是减少消极和孤僻的爱好

　　1）It is targeted on the specific job or career area for which you are applying and brings out the relevant skills you have to offer 针对自己需要的职位最为重要

　　2）It is carefully and clearly laid out: Logically ordered, easy to read and not cramped. 版面简洁干净

　　4.How long should a CV be?

　　There are no absolute rules but, in general, a new graduate's CV should cover no more than 2 sides of A4 paper. 对于字数通常不超过2张A4纸即可

　　Be positive- put yourself over confidently and highlight your strong points. 积极正面向上
