正月十五，元宵佳节。正是月圆人美之时，胡吃海塞之际。不曾想，春节之后的首场雅思考试悄然而至，相信当天肯定有不少考生被这道写作题毁了节日的兴致。环球教育杨亮老师在情人节当天来为大家继续送上喜事，解析此次的雅思写作考试题目。

　　这个题目不算常见，较有难度。在审题时有如下两个要点值得考生们格外注意。首先，ambition一词的词义，在英语中为中性。可以是雄心，亦可以为野心。这一点很多考生容易将其理解为贬义词，野心。那么如此一来就很容易偏离题干。其二就是本题的提问方式。尽管是两个问题。但是这并不是普普通通的报告。第一个问题，的确是报告性质，需要考生评估ambition的重要性。而第二个问题，是一个典型的辩论型问题。需要考生论述出一个结论。故而，下文采用较为传统的方式剖析此题。通过两个主段分别回答题干中的两个问题。

　　Contemporary society is the one with severe competition in all walks. In a society like this, people who are willing to achieve success need a great number of qualities, and being ambitious is an essential one. There is no one who can deny the importance of ambition, and no one can readily regard it as a positive personality.

　　开头段，用两句话介绍了全文的背景。此外，用并列句的形式将本文重点讨论的两个问题点明，即是阐明原题题干中的两个问题。

　　On the way of pursuing success, people might suffer from plenty of difficulties. Hence, for going through all of them, people must be equipped with sufficient determination and persistence. In most cases, people's original ambition kept in their hearts in their early age is able to turn into the driving force for them to stick with their dreams doggedly. Accordingly, ambition is the basic quality for people to achieve success. Instead, people without personality of being ambitious have less possibility to achieve what they dream of. Namely, importance of ambition should be highly valued.

　　主段一，笔者强调了ambition的重要性，进而回击了题干中的第一个问题。由于第一个问题是报告性质，因此本段的论证较为简单。

　　Seemingly, ambitious people always hold positive attitude toward life, with facing everything in their life energetically. By analogy, ambition can be thought as a salutary part of people's personality. Nevertheless, people need to learn how to manage their ambition. Once what people badly want to acquire is obviously beyond what they can achieve, what they finally gain must be pain. People being ambitious all the time are more likely to be tired since they are never satisfied with what they have. Thus, although they might be far more successful than average people, they may be able to enjoy less happiness than them.

　　主段二，笔者通过转折的论证方式回答了题干的第二个问题。先说明这种性格的好处，再论述其缺点。本段的结论是，如果不能控制自己的所求，那么就注定终日劳碌。

　　In conclusion, people in the pursuit of success need their ambition to stimulate themselves as soon as they are about to give up. Meanwhile, they ought to learn how to control their ambition, and otherwise more tiredness and less happiness might be what they always have to suffer from.

　　结尾段，通过两个句子再次分别强调了两个主段的结论，也就是再次回击题干。

　　此类混合提问的题型较有难度，在2016年中三番五次地出现在考试当中。有理由相信在2017年此类题目也会与考生多次见面。再加之本次的话题范围有些抽象，雄心和成功之类的话题本来就不好论述。因此，元宵佳节之际，考生们有此一难，实属不易。正所谓经得起坎坷，方可他日终成正果。
